Doors are used to represent places the player has not explored yet, as any opened doors remain open. They come in different styles, depending on which room they lead into or what region they're in.

In addition to regular doors, there are 4 types of special doors in the game.

Locked Doors[]

Locked Doors are metal doors that require a key to open. A list of Locked Doors include:

Link Doors[]

Link Doors are special doors that the player can go through only after discovering the room it's connected to, and can be referred as a shortcut or a secret passage when exploring the game. A list of Link Doors include:

Cube Doors[]

Cube Doors require the player to collect a certain amount of cubes, whether it be Golden Cubes or Anti-Cubes, in order to open. Only Heart Cubes don't contribute to opening these doors. There are 7 Cube Doors in the game, each requiring 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, and 64 Cubes.

The 1-Cube Door is located in Villageville, and is the first Cube Door that will be enountered in the game. The player will then directly encounter the 2-Cube Door at the top of the Outer Village Tower. After entering, the player will be revealed to the 4, 8, and 16-Cube Doors in the Memory Core, each leading to Wall Village, Nu Zu, and Zu City, respectively. The 32-Cube Door is located in Zu City, leading to the Star Gate that takes the player to the Cosmic Pyramid and where to reassemble the Hexahedron. Finally, the 64-Cube Door is located on Lone Tree Island and directly leads to the Temple of Love where the Heart Cubes are stored.

Tetromino Doors are doors that require the player to enter the Tetromino code displayed. 2 of these doors can be found in the game:

  • An older version of the 32-Cube Door can be found destroyed in the Old Zu City.
